ZebraEnglish Home Based Mentors
Hello! I am Teacher Joeann, aka, Jojo to my applicants. I live In Mississippi, home of the MSU Bulldawgs, with my husband and our 11 children and a few fun animals. I LOVE spending time with my family celebrating life, people, helping others, playing games, dancing(all kinds), and music.
I had no intention of changing companies when I added ZebraEnglish as my “backup company”, but what a ride it has been!! I was one of the first 25 teachers and then honored to become ZE’s 2nd Mentor. I enjoy working with the company and getting to know more of the ZE family on the China side as well as meeting awesome applicants and teachers through the mentoring program. We have a great group of mentors and I look forward to more being added.

Hello - My name is Eric! I am a born and raised New Englander living in Maine pretty much my entire life. I am a middle school teacher specializing in teaching students of other languages. I also teach the same population at the local community college. This is my third year teaching ESL online working for a few different companies. Finally, I was introduced to the best when I became a Zebra English teacher in September of 2019.
I am the lucky dad of a fourteen-year-old daughter, a future bonus daughter who is 21, and a 12-year-old Shitzu mix named Bentley. After 8 years of being together with my fiance, I finally popped the question when we were on vacation in Savannah and Hilton Head in the spring of 2019. Luckily she said yes!
Welcome to the best company in the ESL industry!
Hey there y'all! My name is Jodi, I've been in Ohio since 2013, but before that, I spend 5 years in the lovely VA beach, and I was born and raised in Connecticut. I've been with ZebraEnglish since December of 2019, and it was the best decision I ever made. I'm a momma to 5 amazing kiddos, and my moon-loving stepdaughter, so working from home has been quite the blessing for me. I love orange (flavor, color, fragrance, all of it!), tap dancing, reading long books (when time allows), and all of the small moments that make life worth living. Welcome to ZE!!

Hello! I'm Teacher Lexi. I'm from Oklahoma but currently live in Indiana with my husband, 7 children (6 girls and 1 boy!), and fluffy Pomeranian. My kids are competitive swimmers and play on several golf tours, so I spend all of my spare time on the pool deck or walking fairways.
I have been teaching ESL online for 3 years. I teach for several companies currently. I found ZebraEnglish and loved their platform and their teaching philosophy. I knew I wanted to apply! It is now my favorite ESL company. I enjoy mentoring and coaching applicants and new teachers as well as learning new teaching techniques from all of the amazing mentors and teachers in the ZebraEnglish family!

Hello from Tennessee! I'm Teacher Sasha! I love reading, gardening, and hiking in the Smoky Mountains!!! I'm married and have 9 children! I've been with Zebra English for a year. I think I was teacher number 30?!!! I am also a Mock Mentor and Live Mentor. It has been an amazing experience! I have over 20 years of experience teaching. Teaching economics to college students was nowhere near as exciting or rewarding as my time at ZebraEnglish. I excel at helping students achieve what they cannot do on their own. I believe teaching is a great honor and love inspiring my students to dream big dreams. I hope to inspire you as well! So keep reaching for the stars, Teachers...We'll reach them together!!!

Hi there! I am Cheri, a member of the Home-Based Mentor team here at ZebraEnglish. I am a speech-language pathologist and online educator. I love supporting fellow teachers and assisting applicants in their demo process. I feel very rewarded when an applicant realizes they have achieved their goals by passing their demo. ZebraEnglish truly is a different type of online ESL company. We are part of something amazing!
I live in a rural community in Illinois, and enjoy traveling with my family. Most of the spring and summer we spend our days and nights at the softball or baseball diamonds and the falls are spent in the volleyball gym. I have four children, three of whom are teenagers so my grocery bill is ridiculous! I am very thankful for the opportunities that ZE has provided for my family.

“Hello, little Zebralings!
My name is Argentina and I am both a teacher and Home-Based Mentor with ZebraEnglish. I am originally from Los Angeles, California, but am now living in South Korea. I am trilingual in English, Spanish, and Korean. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2018 with bachelor degrees in Criminology, Law and Society and Film and Media Studies, studied abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul for a year where I took Graduate Law course, and am now currently studying at Pusan National University in Busan under the competitive full-ride Global Korea Scholarship program to obtain a master’s in Marketing.
I have taught ESL since I was 19 (2016) where I have taught adults and children at public libraries, hospitals, daycare centers, and private institutions. I began my online ESL teaching journey almost a year ago, and cannot stress how thankful I am to have found such a warm and welcoming community within ZebraEnglish. I have gotten to build such great connections with teachers, students, and parents all around the world, and I hope that ZebraEnglish can become the home away from home to all of you, as it has become for me. If you ever visit Korea, feel free to drop by!
I wish you all the best of luck, happy teaching and I wish you many bookings ❣️
Love,
Argentina S”
