I hold a BA in Business Management and have lived in 3 countries and speak 3 languages. I love learning and helping others. I am so happy to be working with such a great team of teachers. I am one of the co-founders of Zebra English Google Slides https://www.facebook.com/groups/1856648617801966/. We are in the process of building a free digital library and open source for all ZE teachers. There are Google Slides, Tips & Tricks, Suggested Feedback, Website links, Suggested Secondary Rewards, Links to YouTube channels of star teachers, and links to more wonderful groups. We did all the footwork so you don't have to! Thank you for asking me to be one of the contributors.

I have my degree in Applied Linguistics: TESOL and previously worked as an instructor at a teacher training college in Korea. Teaching with ZebraEnglish has been such a wonderful adventure for me and I'm thankful for the opportunities I've had to contribute to the teacher and applicant communities. I am the founder of the ZebraEnglish Teacher Q&A group on Facebook and I'd love to have you join us there!

Hello, my name is Scheneithia Stickler and I am an energetic, kindhearted, friendly, and loyal person. I have always loved working with children! I have three daughters ages 18, 16, & 11 and I have homeschooled them for the past eight years!!! I’ve learned so much about myself during these eight years and it has helped shape me into a better person. I am the coordinator for American Heritage Girls. I lead a 5th-grade group of girls at my church. I also teach four classes at our homeschool co-op and I teach for three online ESL companies. I’m excited to see where ZebraEnglish is headed and my goal is to rise as they rise!

Hello, my name is Elizabeth D. I am a mom, a webdesigner and a ESL online teacher. I have been a teacher for over 8 years working in a brick and mortar building as well as teaching classes online. I love thinking outside the box and investigating new ways of doing things. I hope you get some great knowledge out of my contributions. I started with Zebra English about a month ago and I am loving the company. My favorite part about Zebra English is how much input they want from the teachers to make the system better. I also like the fact that I don’t have to market myself all the time. I can be more authentic and just teach.

“Hello, sweet friends!” My name is Lisa and that heartfelt greeting accompanied by a wave or a hug never fails to elicit a smile from the students I teach at an Outdoor Preschool, the children’s ministry to whom I preach on Sundays, the 9th grade Lions Heart group of girls I mentor, and the revolving door of friends my teenage daughters bring home. So, when I enter each class on the ZE platform, “Hello, sweet friend!” naturally rolls off my tongue and you can be sure, even the shyest of children flashes me their pearly whites when they grin.
I live in southern California but was born in Vancouver, Canada. I moved south of the border for college and made So Cal my home. I am a credentialed teacher with academic specialties in early childhood education, recreation administration, and Kindergarten readiness. I develop both educational and recreational curriculum for private schools and public municipal programs. I deliver biblical sermons through storytelling and what I used to call play-acting… now I refer to it as TPR!
I currently own and operate a cooperative learning space, called Miss Lisa’s Outdoor School. Imagine… A preschool classroom without walls. An outdoor space to explore. Materials meant for kids to touch, move, manipulate, dismantle, or repurpose. Cooperative play-based learning where children make their own discoveries and learn-by-doing through guided lessons. When a child connects to nature there is a wonderment that leads to curiosity and exploration. And so, this is what we do: explore, discover, learn.

My name is Crystal Butcher and I just turned 41 in April. I live in West Virginia with my husband and amazing five-year-old boy/girl twins, Silas, and Willow (yes, they were natural and no, twins do not run in our families). I love to go camping, mushroom foraging, hiking, and riding four-wheelers. We live in a very small town where we attend a wonderful church. I have been homeschooling our twins since October 2019, and am confident they will excel when attending public kindergarten this year. I attended Salem International University and graduated with MA.Ed and MBA with Sum Cum Laude Honors. I am proficient with sign language and this is always my go to TPR! I worked as a behavior therapist for children with intellectual, behavioral, and developmental diagnoses to ensure they were receiving appropriate services. 20 years of hearing “problems” is a real downer. So, three years ago, I began working with an ESL company prior to going to my daytime job. I loved the platform, the kids, the extra income, and lifelong friendships I did not know I would make. Almost two years has passed since I was able to quit my full time job to become a stay at home mom/teacher and ESL teacher. This has been a dream come true…working from home, teaching my twins, and changing the lives of students in China.
