I felt led this morning to address the issue of encouragement. In our world today we constantly see how everyone is doing well in every area of their life. No one really talks about (or shows pictures) of the hard times and this is damaging. It can cause others to feel like they are not good enough, or they aren’t doing the right things or that goodness and happiness just isn’t for them. This is not so! We all have different paths in life, and we are not to compare our journey to others. I hope that my words can give you a little encouragement and also a reminder of what to focus on and what not to focus on.
In these uncertain times, be encouraged. Although you may not have as many bookings as you would like or as many as others have. Be encouraged, because you have a job! In this unprecedented time so many people do not have a job. Be encouraged, ZebraEnglish hired you! So many applicants are being turned down daily. You have something special that ZE saw in you, so remember that the next time you only have one booking. Be encouraged, ZE is just under a year of this phase of the company, but they have big plans for the upcoming years. And guess what, you get to be a part of that! So the next time you are feeling down, frustrated, annoyed, or confused, remind yourself that Rome wasn’t built in day, this too shall pass and there is light at the end of the tunnel! I hope that this offers you some encouragement and peace.
